Information Technology of modelling and handling of problems of geodesy, mine surveying and mining

The subject of this development is informational technology and handling of problems of geodesy, mine surveying and mining, which would increase the productivity, level of automated processing, improve the quality of information.

Present state
Implementation of informational technologies has lead to an increase of volume and intensity of informational stream which is necessary for making decisions. Modelling objects and problems to be solved become more complicated especially when information about objects is imperfect. Official information about objects and problems to be solved using their models are of great importance nowadays.
Up-to-date analytical plotters, digital photogrammetrical stations and remote control probing of Earth give huge volume of information. A man cannot physically process data in "real time", that’s why it is necessary to substitute a man by a system working in the mode of "real time", which would cope with problems of monitoring, data processing and construction of digital models. These problems can be solved by means of expert system, working in the mode of "real time".
In Germany, USA, Great Britain, France, Russia and other countries the researches on expert system implementation in geoinformation science, cartography etc. are carried out. Such expert systems appeared to be useful for cartographers while map-making.
Digital models in geoinformation system do not describe all properties of modelling objects and are more useful for surface modelling. Presentation of information and properties in geoinformation systems may be solved by means of artificial intellect methods.

Main Idea
In this technology the formal presentation of expert-specialists knowledge is used. It is data base of expert system which control the process of modelling and solving problems.

Advantages and positive qualities are the following:

Area of implementation.
Geoinformation systems in geodesy, mine surveying and mining.

Approbation.
Technological testing are carried out.

Potential user The purchaser has to buy software. The authors adapt the technology to purchaser’s conditions and carry out user’s training.

Purchasers: mining enterprises, aerophoto-geodesical enterprises, software designers, educational establishments in the given branches.

Type of deal: sale of technology, financing of joint investigations.
