Azimuthal method of geostructural mapping


It is a geological and geophysical method of efficient solving of a wide range of search-prospecting, mining and engineering geology tasks. The main peculiarity is The surface electromagnetical sounding of natural mining media and artificial unmagnetical coatings, water areas of bogs, lakes and seas shelf using "AFR" original equipment is the main peculiarity of the method.

Description
Scientific achievements of modern geodynamics were assumed as a basis of elaboration of a new geological and geophysical method and technical means of its implementation. This early unknown established natural occurrence of azimuthal anisotropy of electrical condition of covering deposits is connected with the behaviour of water solution of electrolytes. The stable connection of characteristics of the named anizotropy with various geological structures was exposed.
The wide range of applied geological tasks is solved efficiently. This implementation is economically efficient in comparison with the traditional mining and geophysical methods and is ecologically safe.

Advantages
The new type of the information about the mining surroundings provides mapping on the shut territories with friable deposits. (the power till 100 m). of all types of bursting breaches, local magmatic objects, landslides and defines stable areas which are useful for building of large engineering constructions. (NPS, dams, wears) and are useful for burial of ecologically dangerous substances.
The information of this method allows to reduce the traditional compactness of the research - prospecting network up to 2-5 times. This fact increases the drive and reduces the value of the work.
The main merit of this method is in the receiving the principally new kind of information about geodynamical condition of mining media with the help of this method.
The wide spectrum of the problems solved effectively by the new method plays a leading role in the complex of traditional field geophysical methods of search-prospecting, trade and engineering geology.

State of Development
The method was tested in many geological organization of Ukraine, Russia, Chine, Kirghizia when nuclear power stations (The Byelorussian and Volgograd NPSs), the large themoelectric power station, dams, housing areas were built, and landslides (Crimea) were studied. This method was used in order to research and to prospect gas and oil in Byelorussia. The major part of the work was fulfilled when the tectonics of coal deposits in Donbass, Kuzbass, West Ukraine, Central Asia were studied.
    The industrial experiments to this method were conducted in the Arkhangelsk diamond province in order to solve problems connected with the kimberlite pipes and tectonical breaches on the shelf of the White Sea.
    The portable field device "AFR" is produced in Kiev and Lviv in two series.

Patent Status
Now days two patents have come into force in Ukraine (N6407), Russia (1821786).The portable field device "AFR" which is used to the purposes of the implementation of the method, is an article with the pure patents.

Future commercialisation
    The author of this method can suggest the licencing, selling and the combination of these types of bargains. The carrying out of joint researches is also possible in order to study theoretically the new natural phenomenon.
